PASTELKA – magazine for 5–8 years olds and their adult companions

The Pastelka magazine has been successfully used not only by Czech families with children, but also nurseries and elementary schools. There are several thousand subscribers throughout the Czech Republic.

The magazine includes ideas for work in classrooms of nursery and elementary schools and in afterschool activity groups.

Pastelka is an original Czech magazine “mapping” the school year with its content and is the only magazine of its kind in the country. Every number consists of 48 PAGES at a very reasonable price: without a subscription individual issues can be bought for CZK 45. The subscription price is the same but you will receive the magazine by post to your school. Subscriptions are available throughout the school year as are past numbers.

The magazine is produced by a creative team of experienced teachers and child carers as well as gifted artists and illustrators. Adults help guide the children using PASTELKA through the magazine and therefore it is especially deigned for teachers, who, after all, are professional child guides.
